QUALIFICATIONS Students or current professionals interested in applying for positions must display an interest in real estate based companies and financial management. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in quantitative analysis and Microsoft Office applications. A strong accounting and finance background, either proven through coursework or prior work experience, is required. Beyond quantitative skills, applicants must prove their ability to communicate and manage time effectively. Applicants with US work authorization from all academic backgrounds will be considered. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The firm actively recruits Associates and Financial Analysts for the investment banking and corporate advisory group. Associates and Analysts assist in the execution of a wide range of financial services transactions to real estate, hospitality and healthcare companies. These transactions include, but are not limited to, (i) mergers and acquisitions, (ii) financial restructurings, (iii) leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, (iv) public / private valuation work and (v) capital raisings including the sale of public and private debt, preferred, equity-linked and equity securities. Associates and Analysts will work often in Microsoft Excel and be expected to be thorough and detailed in their research and analyses. They will need to become proficient in the various financial market data sources provided to Wall Street and will assist in creating financial models and client presentations. Students may also be expected to travel throughout the United States to client sites.
